This 16 gauge, mild steel hat features a reinforced skullcap and a short, angled brim. The skullcap has two crossing strips of steel and a lower ring riveted to the base. The helmet has an antiqued finish for a more battle worn appearance and is painted black on the underside of the brim. Wear this helmet with the attached leather head strap. The headstrap fastens with a buckle. There is brown, quilted padding on the inside of the helmet for greater comfort. This steel helmet is a great accessory for reenactments or fantasy conventions.
